About Ellen Mottel

Ellen is a paralegal with many years of experience in Trusts and Estates. Immediately upon joining our firm she became an important member of our team. Behind the scenes, Ellen applies her acute attention to detail to the data entry process, as well as the preparation of client documents. She also spends a great deal of time interacting with our clients, providing information in response to questions, resolving client concerns, and presenting documents to clients for signing in a most professional manner.

Experience

Ellen has extensive experience in the Trusts & Estates field, and has worked in two large Manhattan law firms. She also has experience in other areas of the law, including ERISA and Landlord/Tenant. Ellen is the newsletter proofreader for her chapter of a national organization.

Education

Ellen attended Drexel University in Philadelphia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Design and Merchandising. She received her paralegal certificate from Philadelphia Institute for Paralegal Training. She is also certified as a Notary Public in the State of New York.

Personal

Ellen was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to New York after obtaining her paralegal certificate in Philadelphia. In her free time, Ellen enjoys speed-walking with her iPod, reading, cooking and baking. She lives on Long Island with her husband and two daughters.
