About Annita Doyamis

Annita Doyamis is the Receptionist for our law firm. In this position she has the unique responsibility of making a lasting first impression which has great impact on the success of the firm. Annita is usually the first employee to interact with clients when they call or visit the office. Clients have described her as being friendly, professional, and very helpful. Her responsibilities include answering and routing calls, greeting visitors, handling inquiries from the public, providing information related to the firm and managing calendars for both the attorneys and staff.

Experience

Annita has been in the customer service industry for 23 years. She began as a classifieds manager for the National Herald Greek Language Newspaper where she assisted customers with everything from placing the ad, to promotional strategies to increase sales. Her experience with the paper equipped her with strong organizational skills as well as customer service, and follow-through. She also spent time as a sales associate for many different retail stores before opening her own store which specialized in all natural products and cosmetics. It was in this capacity that she developed the effective verbal and listening skills that aided her in dealing with clients of the firm.

Education

Annita started school in Athens, Greece where she studied Interior and Graphic Design. She also taught English as a second language while in Greece. When she moved to New York, she attended Nassau Community College where she graduated summa cum laude and received her Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts. Annita is fluent in English, Greek, French and Italian.

Personal

Annita was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She has been in New York for 22 years, where she has raised her 3 beautiful daughters. Two of her daughters attend New York University where one is studying European Politics and History, and the other is majoring in Film. Her youngest is an active sixth grader at Garden City Middle School. Annita enjoys long walks, tennis, reading, mostly biographies and non-fiction books, and Broadway and off-Broadway shows.
