President, Senior Attorney
Anthony M. Moccia brings a strong educational background and years of steady growth within the Law Offices of Kobrick & Moccia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and a Paralegal Certificate from Marist College, graduating Cum Laude, before going on to receive his law degree from Touro Law School.
Mr. Moccia joined the firm in 2006 as a Law Clerk. After passing the New York State Bar Exam and being admitted to practice in New York, he was named an Associate Attorney. He is admitted to the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations and is an active member of the Elder Law and Trusts & Estates Section.
Over time, Mr. Moccia advanced within the firm and became a Partner. In June of 2021, he assumed ownership upon founding partner Saul Kobrick’s retirement. Mr. Kobrick passed away in 2022, and Mr. Moccia continues the firm’s commitment to helping families protect what they’ve built and plan for the future with clarity and confidence.
Mr. Moccia is also a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, a national organization dedicated to continuing education and staying current with developments in estate planning.
Originally from Connecticut, Mr. Moccia moved to New York in 2003 to attend law school. He and his wife, Laura — who is also an attorney — married in 2008 and now live on Long Island with their four children. As a parent, he understands how important it is to have protections in place when a family faces disability, illness, or loss. His personal experience supporting a close relative through Alzheimer’s and dementia has further strengthened his commitment to helping clients plan ahead and protect their loved ones.
Outside the office, Mr. Moccia enjoys family time, coaching his daughter’s basketball team, and watching the New York Knicks.
