Supervising Paralegal, Office Manager
Sheila Panzella has been with the Law Offices of Kobrick & Moccia since 1996, beginning her career there as a receptionist. Over the years, her interest in estate planning and her natural ability to connect with clients helped her grow into a trusted and well-rounded legal assistant. In her current role as Supervising Paralegal, Sheila plays a hands-on part in preparing trust documents and deeds, while also helping clients stay organized and informed throughout the estate planning process.
Sheila is known for her strong file management skills and her attention to detail. A large part of her work involves meeting with clients to ensure their trusts are properly funded—an important step that can easily be missed without guidance. In January 2020, Sheila also stepped into the role of Office Manager, overseeing daily operations and helping coordinate workflows for both attorneys and staff.
Experience
Before joining the firm, Sheila held supervisory positions in retail, including Woolworths and Mandees. In those roles, she focused on improving store performance by strengthening customer service, supporting sales goals, and meeting day-to-day operational demands. That experience shaped her approach to client care, and she continues to bring that same high level of service and responsiveness to every person she works with.
Education
Sheila graduated from Kellenberg Memorial High School and continued her studies at SUNY Farmingdale. Much of her professional growth has been driven by her dedication, reliability, and commitment to helping clients feel supported through every step of the process.
Personal
Sheila was born and raised in East Rockaway and still lives there today with her husband and two sons. She is the daughter of an Irish immigrant and a retired New York City firefighter, and she takes pride in her strong family roots. Outside of work, Sheila enjoys traveling with her family and spending time outdoors. She’s also a busy sports mom—supporting soccer, baseball, and even rugby. When she has a quiet moment, she enjoys gardening, genealogy, and photography.
